The Game Board:
When you start a battle, either Player vs Environment (PvE) or Player vs Player (PvP), you’re presented with a 7x5 grid full of colorful stones. This grid is your game board, and it’s where all the action happens. The enemies are located above the grid, while your team is located below the grid.
Matching Stones and Charging Hero Mana:
The core of the game is matching stones. To do this, just tap on one stone and drag it onto an adjacent stone to swap them. You’ll need to match at least three stones of the same color. When you make a match, the stones fly up into your opponent’s heroes, causing damage, while new stones fall in from the top to fill back in the grid. Each hero's Health (HP) is displayed bellow him in form of a red bar. As you hit the opponent's heroes you will notice their HP loss. After you made your move the opponent hits back with their own attacks. The opponent's attack is random and automatic, therefore, no stones are moved when the enemy attacks.
As you make the matches, not only do they cause damage on your enemy, but they also contribute to charging your heroes’ mana bar — which is displayed as a blue bar. However, it’s important to note that the enemy is doing the same, filling their own mana bars from the stones you throw into them. When the mana bar of a hero is full, that hero can use their special skill.
Unleashing Hero Special Skills:
Your team of heroes waits just below the game board. Working together strategically is key, as each hero possesses a unique special skill. To use a hero’s special skill, simply tap on that hero when their mana bar is full. Heroes can do a variety of things with their skills, such as healing your team, launching powerful attacks on the enemy, or performing other remarkable feats. The same is true for your opponent's heroes. So, always be aware of their mana bar. Your ultimate goal in Puzzles Crusade is to defeat the enemy team. To achieve this, keep matching stones and using your heroes’ special skills until all the enemies are defeated.
